Chase's 1st Birthday!!

Our little boy is now one. He has grown up on us! As we look back we can not believe the change in him and our family. He has brought so much joy in our home. We celebrated his birthday with the Ivie family. Then on Sunday the Smith family came down and we celebrated it again. Chase loved it. He was so cautious with the dipping into the cake. In fact all the Ivie grand kids had to show him what to do. Once he figured it out he didn't want to stop. He pounded two pieces of cake. He loved the icing. We caught some funny expression of his an hope you enjoy them as much as we did. I think he knew he had all of the attention so he was living it up. He is such a crowd pleaser. We thank all of you who called and came and celebrate Chase's birthday!!

Later that day we went to MaKee's. All the kids had so much fun seeing the baby animals. Chase thought it was fun to tease the Goose and of course Dad was tending. Chase would put his hand through the fence and the Goose would bite his glove. Chase would grunt and pull his hand away then do it all over again. Sydnee and all the other girls ran around everywhere. They all had so much fun.

This past week we went and spent the day with Maria and Grandpa Ivie. We went to pizza Hut (thank you Grandpa), then we went and feed the Geese and Ducks around the Green Belt in Idaho Falls. The kids thought that was awesome. Chase laughed the whole time. Later that day we went to Blast off and the girls ran around playing with all sorts of cool tubes, balls, and toys. Cool Place for kids!! It was a great day full of fun. In fact Sydnee had so much fun she had three accidents. I guess she was way to excited to stop and go potty. We love life and our so grateful for all our many blessings.

Good Times!!

I thought you all might like to see my talented team and varsity!! We had a lot of fun together. They were great girls who worked hard. That makes it easier as a coach. They all had there moments of discouragement but they were great team players that helped each other out.

We are back home!!

The past few months have been quite the experience for our family. I coached basketball in Grace and Courtney was busy with school. Sydnee and Chase were my little assistant coaches. They did great!! Chase has now figured out how to blow a whistle and Sydnee has each one of the girls wrapped around her finger. She was the highlight of their day. She did well at making us all laugh. She loved to get into the medicine bag and prewrap everything. She also got a kick out of playing in the ball cage. Wish I had pictures of that. She also loved riding the big red bus. She calls it her school bus. We have had so much fun with that and are happy... sad.. it has all come to an end. We are glad to be back home but we are going to miss the fun times with the girls. I had a great time and an awesome experience. I had neat girls to work with and a great coach (my father in law) to work with. We had a lot of fun together and I will cherish those times. We had a great season. J.V. ended fifty percent of the season and varsity took second in districts and lost in the play off for state against W.J. this last Saturday. It was hard to be a part of that but sometimes that is how life goes.

On another note we are back to the grind of things. We have been early spring cleaning and trying to catch up with everything that had been neglected the past three months. Sydnee is into coloring and being a mom to all her babies. She is also into singing songs. We have a lot of fun with that. Chase is walking along everything. I am sure it won't be long before he is off on his own. He has developed the cutest grin that cracks us all up. He is however, a horrible sleeper. We have tried so many thing. We just don't know what his deal is. He just broke his two top teeth so we are hoping things will change here now that they have broken through.

Hello family and friends. We have had such a wonderful Christmas and New Year. We were able to spend Christmas in Grace and the New Year home together as a family. I have been pretty busy with coaching and it was nice to have a break. Sydnee and Chase both had fun at Christmas. Sydnee loved every minute of it. She was excited to see what Santa had brought. Chase just enjoyed the paper and the excitement of everyone else. As we look back on this last year we are so blessed. We are so greatful for our children and the gospel which brings so much joy and comfort in our lives. As the New Year is here we are looking forward to some more memorable experiences and the opportunity to become better disciples of Christ.

Christmas morning....Sydnee thought her doll house was the best. Chase just hangin out!!
